ViewPnt is built on the premise that real debate makes us all sharper. These guidelines exist to protect the integrity of that debate and ensure every user can participate without harassment, manipulation, or abuse. Breaking these rules has consequences — from warnings to permanent bans.
These guidelines apply to all content on ViewPnt: debate videos, text, profile information, and any other content you share.
Argue your actual position honestly. Don't enter debates just to troll, waste your opponent's time, or post incoherent content. Every participant deserves a real opponent.
Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin is not permitted on ViewPnt. You can debate controversial topics — you cannot dehumanize people.
Personal attacks on your debate opponent's identity, repeated targeting of a specific user, doxxing (sharing private information), or any content that could make someone fear for their safety is prohibited.
Coordinating with other accounts to artificially inflate or deflate votes, using bots, creating fake accounts, or any other means of manipulating debate outcomes or win records is a permanent ban offense. The integrity of the record is everything.
Debates exist for debate, not advertising. Do not use ViewPnt to promote products, services, or external websites without our permission.
Sexually explicit material is not permitted. ViewPnt's age rating requires us to maintain standards appropriate for our community. Suggestive content intended to shock or offend rather than debate is subject to removal.
Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors will result in immediate permanent account termination and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
Do not create accounts designed to impersonate other ViewPnt users, public figures, or organizations. Your username and profile must accurately represent you.
Only post content you have the right to share. Do not use copyrighted music, video, or images in your debate recordings without proper rights or licenses.
Making a strong argument is not the same as deliberately spreading false information. Presenting demonstrably false claims as fact — especially about public health, elections, or safety — may result in content removal.
We review reported content and apply consequences based on severity and history:

ViewPnt has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the Report button inside any debate or profile in the app, or block the user directly — blocking removes their content from your feed immediately and notifies our team. You can also email us directly at support@viewpnt.app for urgent safety concerns. We review all reports of objectionable content or abusive behavior and, where a violation is confirmed, remove the content and eject the offending user within 24 hours.
If your account has been suspended or content removed and you believe it was in error, you can appeal by emailing support@viewpnt.app with your username and a description of the situation. We will review your appeal within 7 business days.
