This Privacy Policy explains how ViewPnt ("ViewPnt," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information about you when you use our iOS application and website at viewpnt.app. By creating an account or using ViewPnt, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

When you log in to ViewPnt, we issue a secure authentication token and store it locally on your device using iOS Keychain or secure device storage. This token allows you to remain logged in between sessions without re-entering your password.
You can end all active sessions at any time from Settings → Security → Log out all devices.
If you choose to sign in with Apple, Apple will share your name and email address (or a private relay email address if you choose to hide your email) with ViewPnt. We use this information solely to create and maintain your ViewPnt account. We do not receive your Apple ID password. Your use of Sign in with Apple is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you choose to sign in with Google via OAuth 2.0:
Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell device identifiers or IP addresses. We do not use your IP address to determine precise location.
We do not use your personal data to serve third-party advertising. We do not sell your data.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these limited circumstances:
We share data with vendors who help us operate ViewPnt — cloud infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only as directed by us.
Data exchanged with Apple and Google during authentication is governed by their respective privacy policies as described in Section 3.
When you use "Challenge on X," ViewPnt opens the X app on your device and pre-populates a post with a challenge link. ViewPnt does not post to X on your behalf and does not access your X credentials.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ViewPnt, our users, or the public.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you in advance.

When you share debate content externally via the share or challenge features, that content is subject to the privacy policies of the platforms you share to.
ViewPnt retains debate content after account deletion to preserve the integrity of other users' records. Please read this section carefully.
When you delete your account:
Anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., total debate counts, aggregate vote statistics) that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.
To delete your account: Settings → Account → Delete Account, or visit viewpnt.app/delete-account.
ViewPnt requires camera and microphone access to record debate videos. We only activate these when you are actively recording — never in the background. You can revoke permissions at any time via iOS Settings → ViewPnt.
We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
ViewPnt is not intended for users under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 17. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 17, we will delete it promptly. Contact support@viewpnt.app if you believe a minor's data has been collected.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@viewpnt.app immediately.
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA:

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the State of Arizona.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification and/or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of ViewPnt after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
